Natalie Rees,
Accredited Play Therapist,
Filial-Informed Therapist
BEd, PG Cert, PG Dip, MA

I am delighted to begin a journey together with you and your child.

I began my career as a Primary School Teacher in Ireland in 2001, and since then, have had the pleasure of working with families
of all shapes and sizes across the UK and Ireland.

I am experienced in relating to children across the key stages and age ranges and have additional experience as: Deputy Head Teacher, Newly-Qualified Teacher Mentor, Further Learning Academy Tutor and Marker, Special Educational Needs Coordinator, Kumon Maths and English Franchisee, Therapeutic Poetry Workshop Facilitator, Residential Home Support Worker, Democratic School Teacher, and Communications Officer. I am also a Dementia Champion.

I began my therapy training as a Certified Practitioner of Therapeutic Play Skills prior to becoming a Certified Play Therapist, an Accredited Play Therapist, and finally a Filial-Informed Therapist.

I work under the ethical guidelines of British Association of Play Therapists at all times and receive fortnightly supervision by an Accredited Supervisor, regulated by BAPT and the Professional Standards Authority. You can find me on the BAPT register.
